SWEDLINGHAUS produces and sells professional foodservice equipment since 1971; its core business is mainly represented by slicers and bone bandsaws. The company is based in Grottazzolina (FM), one of the most developed industrial areas of Marche Region, leaded by two partners, Davide Longo and Leonello Virgili, and 20 employees. SWEDLINGHAUS is the only company placed in South-Central Italy operating in this specific field; all other Italian competitors are mainly placed in Northern Italy, especially around Varese district.
The technical experience acquired and the business relationships strengthened during these years, helped SWEDLINGHAUS to become one of the leading companies in professional foodservice equipment in Italy and abroad. In the last ten years SWEDLINGHAUS invested substantial resources to improve its presence on foreign markets, employing qualified human resources, taking part to the major national and international shows, keeping on loyalizing some distributors in Europe and Asia, United Arab Emirates, China, India, Singapore and Vietnam. In the last two years, SWEDLINGHAUS turned its attention also to the Central America market, creating an important logistic pole in Costa Rica, as base and starting point to improve the business in all other Central America Countries and in the US.
Together with SWEDLINGHAUS, the company owns another well-known brand: Vittoria. Born in the same period as Swedlinghaus, Vittoria offers the customers a full range of equipment for restaurants, bars, pastries, bakeries, pizzerias and hotels.
Despite the name, which may recall a German origin, SWEDLINGHAUS is an Italian company. Established in Turin in 1950 by Tomasi brothers, lately, in 1971 it was taken over by Longo family and moved in Fermo, Marche Region, Step by step, the company expanded until becoming a leader in professional foodservice equipment.
